Music mediation is increasingly being positioned as a transformative force within the music sector. This panel discussion, held at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz, explored how music mediation might act as a “game changer” in the face of societal, technological, and political transformations. Experts from orchestras, universities, cultural policy, and independent practice reflected on future scenarios for 2035, addressing structural change, resource allocation, digitalization, and superdiversity.
